1997 Diploma at the Gymnasium Ricarda-Huch-Schule in Braunschweig. 1998-2003 Studies at the University of Bremen, graduated as Industrial Engineer of Logistics and Production. Thesis at Volkswagen AG, Wolfsburg on artificial intelligence in industrial maintenance. 2003-2007 Project Manager at the Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics (ISL), Bremen. 2007 Ph.D. in Business Administration, University of Bremen. 2007-2011 Member of the Bremische Bürgerschaft, parliament of the federal state Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. Temporary chairman of FDP Bremen and FDP parliamentary Group in the Bremische Bürgerschaft. 2011-2013 Managing Director, since 2013 Executive Director of the German Association of Plastics Converters (GKV). 2012 to 2016 Management of plastic waste recycling projects in the Indian Maharashatra region on behalf of Röchling Foundation, Mannheim.
